The ISD International Festival takes place in the month of April. The Festival opens and closes with big splashy community-wide events, with guest speakers visiting classrooms throughout the month.
The 6th grade has enjoyed an abundance of cultural presentations this year from parents and visiting guests, including: Anta's mum (Nigeria, the United Kingdom); Luciana's mum and pop (Paraguay); Ibrahima's mum (Timbukto, Mali); Ethan's mum (Madagascar); Ms. Chang (Mexico); Dr. LaTouche (public health in the aftermath of the natural disasters in Hailti and Japan); Dr. Vanhercke (the canacla hand washing system); and Goundo's pop (Mali).
Thank you to you all.
