What's happening around class?

We've begun a unit investigating the nature of water, opening with a look at its physical and chemical properties. Here the kids explore the polar nature of the water molecule, as demonstrated by our ability to bend it, or to use a charged object to attract the more positive side of the molecule.

Photos 12-15 show 6S playing two Everyday Math inspired math games, the first exploring probability, the second practicing finding solutions to simple equations.
